W grze akcji, gdzie refleks jest kluczowy, może to być ma też podobne ograniczenia co usługi VOD. To oznacza, że sygnał z serwerowni jest poddawany kompresji, a ta wpływa na jakość obrazu i dźwięku. Różnice w tej jakości są podobne, jak w przypadku treści filmowych na płytach Blu-ray UHD w zestawieniu z ich odpowiednikami na Netfliksie czy Prime Video. Dla fanów pięknej grafiki i kryształowo czystego dźwięku może to być pewien i nie zapominajmy, że w ramach Xbox Game Pass płacimy abonament w zamian za dostęp do gier – a nie za gry.
